How a plan works
Your doctor looks at your scalp and history and may suggest blood tests. Treatments are usually done every 2 to 4 weeks for a course, then spaced out for maintenance. Shedding often slows first; new growth takes several months to show, so we review progress with photos.
Realistic expectations
Scalp treatments work best for early thinning and shedding. Areas that have been bald for a long time rarely regrow, and genetic hair loss needs ongoing care. If a hair transplant is a better option, your doctor will tell you honestly.
