Who a lip flip suits
A lip flip suits people whose upper lip is thin or seems to disappear when they smile, and who want a subtle change without filler. It does not add volume, so for fuller lips lip filler is the better choice, and the two can be combined.
What to expect
A few tiny injections are placed along the upper lip border. It takes minutes and you can return to normal activities straight away. For the first few days some people find it slightly harder to drink through a straw or pronounce certain sounds.
Aftercare
- Stay upright for 4 hours and do not rub or massage the area
- Avoid exercise, heat and alcohol for 24 hours
Safety
A lip flip is not done during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with certain neuromuscular conditions. Your doctor checks your medical history first.
