What lip blush does
- Adds a natural tint, so you need less lipstick
- Defines and balances the lip outline
- Evens out patchy or pale lip colour
For dark or bluish lips, the colour is usually corrected first with lip neutralisation.
What to expect
We agree the shape and shade with you first. After numbing, pigment is placed in the lips with a fine machine. Lips look bold and slightly swollen for a few days, then flake and soften. A touch-up is often recommended after 6 to 8 weeks to perfect the colour.
Aftercare
- Keep the lips clean and apply the balm we give you
- Do not pick the flakes
- Avoid sun, swimming, saunas and spicy food for a week
Who should wait
Lip blush is not done during pregnancy, with active cold sores, or in people prone to keloid scarring. If you get cold sores, preventive medication may be advised before treatment.
