How laser hair removal works
The laser emits light at a wavelength that melanin, the pigment in hair, absorbs strongly. The light turns into heat inside the hair shaft and damages the follicle that produces it, while the surrounding skin is protected by cooling.
Hair grows in cycles, and only hairs in the active growth phase (anagen) respond well. That is why a course of sessions is needed: each visit catches a new group of hairs as they enter that phase.

Which laser technology do we use?
We use diode laser technology for laser hair removal. Its wavelength of around 800 nm reaches deep into the follicle, which makes it especially effective for coarse, dark hair, and with longer pulses and cooling it suits a wide range of skin tones.

How many sessions you need
Most areas need 6 to 8 sessions. Hormonally driven areas such as the chin, neck and male back often need more, plus maintenance sessions once or twice a year. You can expect a visible reduction after the first two or three sessions, with finer, lighter and slower regrowth.
