Your checklist
- Shave the treatment area the day before, or the morning of your session
- Remove make-up, creams, deodorant and self-tanner from the area
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing
- Arrive with skin that isn't sunburnt or irritated
Medicines and health
Some medicines make skin more sensitive to light, including certain antibiotics and acne treatments such as isotretinoin. Tell us about everything you take. Laser hair removal is usually postponed during pregnancy.
